So, do you want to save a life? This Thursday, May 2, the Towers at City College of New York will be co-sponsoring a blood drive with the New York Blood Center. The drive will be held from 1 pm to 9 pm at 401 West 130th Street on the first floor.
All CCNY students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in this life saving mission. Please bring a state ID card if you wish to donate! Sign up here: http://tinyurl.com/ccnyblooddrive5-2-19
Why should you donate?
NYBC has officially declared a blood emergency because supplies have dropped below required minimums, even for the seasonally low summer months. There is no substitute for human blood. Your donation can go towards impacting the lives of up to 3 patients! From natural disasters to unforeseen catastrophes, emergency hospital procedures to life-long battles with chronic diseases such as sickle cell, the demand for blood is constant. The supply is not, and you can change that!
