Louis Orpisa
Editor In Chief

Louis studies video production, journalism, and publishing. He’s a technology assistant at City College, where he helps facilitate workshops on educational tools for faculty to use in their classrooms. He has experience working in documentaries, daytime network television, non-profit organizations, and he has also written for a startup sports website ( Louis’ goal is to create written or visual content that improves people’s lives that ultimately betters the community. In his personal life, he’s an avid Yankees and Knicks fan, and he enjoys ice cream more than any other living human being. Rochelle Sterling
Managing Editor 

Rochelle Sterling is a Sociology major and Journalism minor, and has been with The Campus since 2011. She loves live music and discovering new recipes for her favorite dishes.





Ashlee Schuppius
Business Manager

Ashlee is the business manager for The Campus news magazine, head of the advertising team and a contributing writer. She studies Economics and minors in Journalism. On her free time you can find her watching vice documentaries, law and order SVU, or adrift in a good book.




Nikeeyia Howell

Nikeeyia has been with the campus since 2011. She is an English Literature major, and a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow. When not editing for The Campus, or doing academic research on Mark Twain and other 19th century authors, Nikeeyia writes prose, poetry, does photography, and draws ( a few of her illustration have been featured in The Campus). Looking toward the future, she hopes to ultimately pursue a PhD in English literature.



Natalie Renteria

Natalie is a Cultural Anthropology major, minoring in Jewish Studies. In addition to being the lifestyle section editor, she is the Campus social media manager. Natalie enjoys photography, poetry, cooking and food blogging.




Jeff Weisinger

Brooklyn born and California raised, Jeff’s experience as a sportswriter includes work as the San Francisco Giants beat writer, as well as the writing for the Tri-City Voice from 2009-2011. He’s served as the editor-in-chief of Ohlone College’s student publication in Fremont, CA and played minor-league football in California for five years before returning to New York in 2011.



Rachel Mines
Website Manager

Rachel is a Political Science major with a minor in Public Policy and Public Affairs. In addition to running the Campus website, Rachel is a contributing journalist – focusing primarily on news stories. She also writes short stories, is a part of the Malave Leadership Academy, and is a Senator in the Undergraduate Student Government.
